Is acrylic the same as Perspex?

Yes — Perspex is a brand name for cast acrylic (PMMA), the same material sold under names like Plexiglas and Lucite. We use the names interchangeably and stock both cast and extruded acrylic.

How do I clean acrylic without scratching it?

Use a soft microfibre cloth with warm soapy water or a dedicated acrylic cleaner. Avoid paper towels, glass cleaners with ammonia, and abrasive sponges — they will scratch or craze the surface over time.

Can acrylic be used outdoors?

Yes — acrylic is naturally UV stable and is one of the few clear plastics that won't yellow over time. It's an excellent choice for outdoor signage, glazing and covers.
