Factory Worker / Plastic Fabricator

Seeking a factory worker to join our small team in a permanent full time position. Hours can be adjustable for the right person. Hourly rate will depend on experience, ability and productivity based on individual circumstance. Fabrication work, cabinet making, CNC, laser work or similar work experience preferred.

Duties include:

​

  • Use of machinery

  • Operation of CNC routers / laser

  • Programming of jobs for CNC / laser

  • Fabrication of orders

  • Taking details of customer orders

  • Factory cleaning & general maintenance

  • Manual labour and lifting of plastics and finished products

 

Desirable personal attributes of the candidate:

  • Initiative and focus

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to own and correct errors

  • Attention to detail with willingness to learn new skills and take instruction

  • Awareness and adherence to workplace safety practices

  • Good communication, must be able to speak and read English fluently
